Biography

Gracelyn
My writing career began at 18. I fell in love with poetry, which led me to enter contests. I had done creative writing during my K-12 years, but it was never anything serious. I began to fall in love again because of a professor who just loved writing.
After my parents paid me to read one summer during elementary school, I learned to love reading. I never wanted to stop. One year in high school, I even read 150 books. I loved escaping to other worlds. I wanted to view everything through new perspectives. I was always excited to see where my next read would take me, and how I would view the world differently after I read it.
I have taken a similar approach to my own writing. I want it to be appealing with great characters, plot, and settings, but I also want to reach out and allow readers to find deep themes and messages.
